If you've ever been on the scene of an accident, you know how horrifying it can be. The Tema Conter Memorial Trust is dedicated to helping the emergency medical services (EMS) professionals who face these scenes nearly every day of their lives.
The Trust wanted to shine some light on the serious issue of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in EMS professionals. We worked with them to develop a PSA that would put a human face on this hidden issue.
The 'Because Heroes are Human' campaign shows the intense pain and isolation that results from PTSD. The spot aired on both radio and television across the country, and continues to reach millions with its message that the people who help us everyday sometimes need help themselves. Launch Site
