With a number of fine restaurants and bed-and-breakfast establishments, downtown Lunenburg, Nova Scotia is a very competitive business environment. So when Sylvie MacDonald and Chef Martin Ruiz Salvador launched Fleur de Sel restaurant et maison, they turned to Impact to address their marketing challenges.

We quickly realized that the main ingredients already existed: exquisite French cuisine, charming staff, and a warm, cozy atmosphere. When we gave Fleur de Sel a unique identity/logo, our goal was to generate awareness and excitement for the memorable experience that only Fleur de Sel could offer.

A sophisticated and inviting look was created and used for all materials, including the logo and website. As well, we worked with Sylvie and Martin to develop a direct mail campaign for special seasonal offers. Overall response has been overwhelming, and Fleur de Sel's recognition has moved far beyond the Maritimes; it was recently named one of the top ten new restaurants in Canada. Launch Site
