Impacting Our Community

Providing our Think Fresh services is one of the ways in which we lend a helping hand to the community. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to collaborate with such great causes and look forward to many future endeavours. Check out the community organizations we have worked with.

Health & Wellness

Cystic Fibrosis
There are many faces to cystic fibrosis and Impact is proud to be considered among them. As our primary charity, we offer 3-4 days a month, doing everything from fundraising and newsletters to hosting their website and Board meetings.

Gallivan CF Golf Tournament
The legend of NHL broadcaster Danny Gallivan lives on in the Gallivan CF Golf Tournament of which Impact is thrilled to be an associate sponsor. We provide creative advertising and design of the celebrity player's handbook, with our eye on the prize of raising $50K every year.

Tema Conter Memorial Trust
Helping the TCMT raise awareness and prevent Post Traumatic Stress among emergency services personnel is something we are proud to get behind. We've created an award-winning TV spot and are ongoing supporters of the Halifax and Toronto Galas.

Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
All of us are touched by cancer so Impact jumped at the chance to sponsor the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's inaugural 50 Over FIFTY fundraiser. This event was our chance to give back to recognize the accomplishments of 50 outstanding women.

Tony Griffin Ride For the Cure
When Irish hurling star, Tony Griffin approached us with his dream to cycle across Canada & Ireland to raise money for ovarian cancer, we were astonished by his passion. Impact donated time to manage a full media relations campaign, across two countries and even caught the attention of Lance Armstrong, who hurled with Tony.

Festival of Trees
We were honored to work with the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia to create an identity and design all the collateral pieces to make the Festival of Trees one of the best loved holiday traditions.

Abilities Foundation of Nova Scotia
When approached by the Abilities Foundation we were thrilled to help them re-energized their campaign with a new look designed to bring together 2,000 participants and volunteers. Today, the Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay is perhaps Nova Scotia's largest special event fundraiser.

Easter Seals
Donating our time to launch a thrill-seeking fundraiser was a blast. The corporate sector always wants a chance to be a Superhero so we gave them the tools, from designing T-shirts to the Drop Zone website. What began in Halifax has gone national, reaching "new heights" in fundraising, and each year an Impact-er volunteers to rappel down 1801 Hollis.

Workbridge
We are proud to offer our support and design an identity for the Workbridge, an organization that works tirelessly to offer specialized employment services for people with disabilities.

Social Responsibility

Nova Knowledge
The knowledge economy is our raison d'etre. That's why Impact participates on NovaKnowledge's Advisory Board and sponsors the annual Spark Awards. We are delighted to play an active part of NovaKnowledge's community of innovation.

YWCA Halifax
The YWCA believes in the power of women to achieve and Impact believes we are all designers of our community and our world. When asked to Walk A Mile in Her Shoes, fundraiser for the transitional housing program, we jumped at the chance.

Canadian Red Cross
In times of disaster, the Red Cross is there. When you want to learn how to swim, the Red Cross is there. When you break a leg, the Red Cross is there. Impact decided to return the favor of being "there" for the Red Cross. We gave out 100 Red Cross first aid kits and are happy to promote the amazing work of Red Cross volunteers to anyone who'll listen.

Climate Change Project
After the Al Gore shared An Inconvenient Truth he attracted a following. Impact was approached to design e-invitations and donate posters to help raise environmental consciousness at a local level. We were pleased to be a part of this climate change solution.

First Angel Network
The First Angel Network bridges the gap between entrepreneurs and capital in Atlantic Canada. Impact provided corporate sponsorship to help promote seminars across Atlantic Canada.

Arts & Education

NSCC's Waterfront Campus
NSCC's hip, new, environmentally-friendly waterfront campus is the biggest undertaking in the history of the College. It represents a new direction and Impact was thrilled to donate our design skills to develop posters and invitations in support of the grand opening.

MSVU
Impact was a corporate sponsor for the Big Kahuna/Adidas Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) National Soccer Championships National women's soccer finals. GOAL!

Symphony Nova Scotia
Every year Symphony Nova Scotia brings classical heavyweights to our region. In support of their artistic achievements, Impact loaned its talents to create a brand identity, logo, and developed marketing materials for the Symphonic Notables fundraiser.

Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education
To help the CCAE increase public awareness of issues facing Canada's post-secondary institutions, Impact was pleased to sponsor their national conference at Dalhousie University.
